Vince DePaul - Instructor

Vince DePaul is Director of the Your House Academy. Vince began his real estate career in 1976 and is a real estate broker and a licensed real estate and continuing education instructor. He has taught real estate at College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois and Oakton Community College in Des Plaines, Illinois for several decades. For ten years he produced and hosted a weekly, live, call-in radio broadcast in Chicago called “Your House” where he was known as “Mr. Real Estate”. Vince produced the audio guide to passing the state exam called Mr. Real Estate's Illinois Examination Review. He's written and published numerous articles for newspapers and magazines including Computing Today Magazine, Marriage Partnership Magazine and The Suburban Realtor newspaper. During his 25 years as a member of the National Association of Realtors Vince served on numerous committees and chaired the Realtor Image and EOH Committees. He received the Outstanding Committee Member award from the Realtor Association in 1999. Vince is active in the Real Estate Educators Association (REEA) and the Association of Illinois Real Estate Instructors (AIRE)

Clayton Waite - Instructor

Clayton Waite began his award winning real estate career in 1987 and has loved it ever since. He served as a Marine Corp Sergeant and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Education, English and Public Speaking. Clayton taught as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, high school teacher and a County Public School Speech Therapist for several years. As a licensed real estate instructor since 2000, his students continually remark about his teaching skills, sense of humor and his ability to make a tough subject easy to understand.

Lynn Henkle - Instructor

Lynn Henkle, a real estate broker and a licensed real estate instructor, started her real estate career in 2000 in the Schaumburg area. She received her secondary teaching certification from Northern Illinois University and in addition to teaching pre-license classes, she teaches alternative education classes for school district 211 and as a substitute teacher in other school districts. A former student wrote, "Lynn is a very good teacher. I enjoyed being her student. Thank you Lynn."

Bill O'Donnell- Instructor

William (Bill) O’Donnell is one of our most experienced instructors with over 16 years in real estate sales and 10 years as a managing broker. Bill is a Graduate of the Realtor® Institute (GRI) and has served on the Board of Directors of the National, State and Local Realtor® Associations. Bill also served on the Board of Directors of the Multiple Listing Service of Northern Illinois (MLSNI). Bill teaches both broker and pre-license courses and enjoys one of the highest first time state exam passing rates in the state.
