THIS is where to start if you're interested in a real estate career.  The entry-level 90-hour Broker Pre-License Course is taken in two parts:

1. A 75-hour Topics course.  Our topics course is given in a Flexible-Learning home-study format that includes voluntary attendance in 11 regularly-scheduled ongoing workshops/classes held in various locations.
   
2. A 15-hour Applied Real Estate Principles course that requires mandatory classroom attendance.

A proctored final exam is required for both courses with a minimum passing score of 75%.  Students have up to four years to take the required state exam.  The exam can be taken four times before having to repeat the course.  Tuition is $590.00 and includes all text materials.  Click here for licensing requirements.  Click here  for our current Broker License class schedule.

This course is required for anyone who wants to manage a real estate office or who wants to become their own managing broker ... in other words, to become self sponsored.  To become a managing broker you are required to complete a total of 165 hours of education and have an active real estate license for two of the last three years.  The 45-hour course is given in two parts:

1. 30-hour managing broker pre-license Topics
2. 15-hour managing broker pre-license Applied Management & Supervision

 Tuition is $285.00 and includes text material.

This 30-hour course is taken AFTER you've passed the state exam and have become sponsored.  It's given in two parts ... a 15-hour post-license Topics course and a 15-hour Applied Real Estate Practices course.  These courses are designed to cover the practice of real estate brokerage and offers a review of license law, state & federal laws, agency and real estate transactions.  Brokers who take this course during their first renewal cycle will NOT be required to complete any other continuing education.  Tuition is $230.00 and includes all text materials.

This course is required for the person who wants to obtain a limited use license to engage in leasing of residential real estate.  To be a leasing agent, an applicant must be at least 18 years old and meet the other standard requirements for licensing ... high school diploma or GED, be of good moral character, pass the Illinois State exam and must be employed (sponsored) by a managing broker, etc.

This Flexible-Learning home-study course can be completed in as little as two weeks and includes voluntary attendance in our ongoing pre-license workshops.  Enrollment is good for six months, tuition is $150.00 and text materials are included.
