The Survey Says: Our Real Estate Classes Are Terrific

Published Monday, September 10, 2018

We’re obviously biased, so if you ask us, we run a pretty good program. But the better measure of the worth of our real estate courses is our students’ opinions. We’re always pleased to hear from them, the good comments and the bad. So we ask all of our students to complete a survey when they finish the course, and we look carefully at responses to see where we need to improve, and when we should give our instructors well-deserved compliments.

Recently, we started using a new survey procedure that allows us to quantify the results. If you’re considering taking your real estate education at Your House Academy, you might be interested in what our students are telling us (and you can see many of their comments on our home page and our testimonial page, here).

We ask a number of questions about the workshop leader – are they prepared? Do they provide real-life examples from their professional experience? Do they answer questions clearly and completely? We were pleased to see that, on a scale of 1-5, with 5 being “strongly agree,” our instructors scored a 4.7 from respondents!

One area we’re very proud of is the number of respondents who would recommend the instructor they had, and the course overall, to others. From our respondents, 95% would – and often have, we know – tell others about our school. (Keep in mind, too, that if you’re a past or present student and refer someone who registers with us, just let us know and we’ll send you a thank you gift!)

These responses are very important to us – when we see an issue, or an area we can improve in, either from an individual response, or looking at an overall number, we work to find a solution. We also give respondents an opportunity to comment, and we take those comments seriously – we’re happy that we rarely get negative comments, but those help us pinpoint problems.

We sincerely believe that the best advertising for our school is a satisfied student. We can tell you 10 ways from Sunday why Your House Academy is a great place to take your real estate license classes – but we’d rather have our students tell you. And we’re very happy that they’re pleased to do just that.

A REALTOR® is a licensed real estate agent who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, (NAR) the largest trade group in the country.

Every agent is not a REALTOR®.  You become a REALTOR® after you pass your real estate course, pass the state license exam, join a real estate company and then join the National Association of REALTORS®.

According to the NAR, the term REALTOR has one, and only one, meaning:
"REALTOR® is a federally registered collective membership mark which identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics."

Michael Fair, President and Director of Your House Academy is an NAR member.
